Catching Up With Old Friends

It's a little hard to remember but I believe I met Laura in the 4th grade. I had lots of great childhood memories hanging out with her like playing in the mud in her back yard, getting covered from head to toe, and a beach vacation with her sweet family and playing the game Malarkey with the adults. She is very beautiful, and we did this session to update her modeling portfolio. I hope this earns you lots of work, you are very easy to photograph and the camera loves you!!

A Cute Mess.

Yesterday I photographed one month old twins. Just like any newborn session where there are nude babies, they can urinate. Well, usually this happens once during a session, but this was x2! There was baby pee everywhere, but thats what washers are for, right? Amanda was helping me during this session, and boy was it fun. I usually recommended that newborn sessions take place on the 5th or 6th day after birth because of one specific reason, they are very groggy from their journey through the womb. That way you can manipulate them in any which way you want without disturbing them and causing a cry fest. They where one month old, so the crying event happed a few times, but they where easily put back to sleep. Hopefully we didn't scar the poor things.

♥ Fall Weather!!

Today I had a photo shoot with my niece and her Mom! The weather was amazing, and the leafs where so pretty, and the colors where super saturated. Olivia was quite energetic today and was busy going all over the place, and making me laugh. All in all, it was a good shoot, and I was happy with the way the shots came out!

Snap, Flash, Repeat.

So, it has been a VERY long time since I blogged. About two weeks ago, I did my first boudoir session. It is a new genre of photography that I am getting into, and boy is it a blast. The main idea of this new type of session is can be used as a gift for a husband containing sensual, classy, and beautiful pictures of their wife. The product that comes a long with the session is an album called the "little black book". I get to have all sorts of fun doing make-up and hair and playing dress up. Its really a gift for a guy, but in reality it is really fun to show a women in a new light, and show her the true beauty that she is. You definitely walk away from the experience with a boost of confidence. So ladies, if you are interested I can show you the session. A day after this really fun session, I photographed girls from the Georgia Figure Skating Club, and boy was that a lot. I had to shoot a group shot of 36 girls dressed up in their competition dresses. The crazy part was that I was in the middle of the ice in flats ON A LADDER holding a very expensive camera. There was no falling :] and I had four people holding me and the ladder. Along with the group shot, I also photographed 14 girls in back to back sessions...talk about a long day.
